What Can U Do?

How To Get Involved

There is a multitude of ways for ‘U’ to get involved. A majority of young adults believe that their voices will not be heard or that their votes do not matter. This is not the case, as you have the power to advocate for change. On an individual level, you can utilize the link from Save Our Canyon’s website to write a letter to Utah’s governor: Spencer Cox. Here you can voice your concerns and tell them what Little Cottonwood Canyon means to you; why it needs to be protected, and the memories you’ve had there. With our petition link, you can input your information and sign for change. You can vote for change on the ballot and save the canyon. Furthermore, you can look in your community, neighborhood groups, or university groups that look to stop the development of Little Cottonwood Canyon. It is important to keep your eyes open for events at the capitol so that we do not go unheard. Make sure your tax dollars go to projects that benefit the community as a whole.
